Luxury tents
We have four brand new, en-suite luxury safari tents each with their own unique view of the Luangwa River. With special touches, like crystal sherry decanters, and five-star South African décor these tents are perfect for couples wanting to spoil each other.
'Honeymoon Suite'
This is the definition of luxury in the simplest form. Crafted from mahogany wood salvaged from around Munyamadzi with a cool thatched roof, canvas paneling and open front facing the Luangwa River with private verandah under the shade of a Natal Mahogany tree. The en-suite bathroom has running hot water and a hand-carved wooden basin made on site. This room can be arranged with a king size bed or with two single beds. Additional beds can be added for families.
Classic safari tents
The latest addition to our camp are two new classic safari tents - without the bells and whistles of the luxury tents but just as comfortable. Facing the river on FSC sustainabiliy certified hardwood from 60km away, we pride ourselves on showcasing the best of Zambian-made sustainable decor in these iconic bush tents.
Camp features
In the centre of the camp is the social area where meals are eaten under a spacious thatch roof overlooking the river. The bar is stocked with local drinks and features a "makoro" or wooden canoe as shelving and a truly unique counter top. Comfortable chairs are arranged for you to enjoy a book from our collection or discuss your day's activities.
The fire pit has a spectacular view over the Luangwa River, with the braai area equipped with an extra large Big Green Egg for the most scrumptious pizzas, braais and roasts. Next to the fire pit is the highlight of the camp: the infinity pool. With a seat along the inside of the pool facing the river, this is the perfect spot for sundowners in camp while the sun loungers and generous shade from the umbrella make for a perfect unwinding spot.
